Looks like you had fun. All the pictures are cool, but I especially like the " less glamorous" ones, my favorite being the playing cards and sparkler remains on the wood floor; also the one of lederhosen legs on the same wood floor. The arms holding up liter beers- how much do you think one of those beers weighs when full? Got to be really strong bar maids there I expect; I can't imagine carrying five or six full beers around.

I just looked it up and apparently the beer + glass weighs about 2.2 pounds -damn! They’ll walk around with at least 10 of them too, and they have competitions for who can carry the most haha

I bet nobody messes with those waitresses- they might get hit with a beer glass

Thanks for the window into Bavarian Oktoberfest, Skylar! Great photos too, really quite well done. Sometime you'll need to write about your camera setup 😁

thanks, Mike! I really appreciate it. Right now most of my work is on a Nikon ZF with a 40mm f2 lens. Of course there are some iPhone pics too! That's a great idea though, maybe I'll do some camera gear talk sometime.

Oh man I miss Oktoberfest! I was always surprised by how family friendly it was. I used to nanny for a little girl who both loved and feared the "Geistebahn" (haunted house). We always avoided the Augustiner tent because it was dominated by Australians. One vomited down the front of my friend's dirndl 🤢

very family friendly! and sloppy at the same time haha. it's such a fascinating place with so much lore, too. thankfully this time around I wasn't in the vicinity of any vomit (that I knew of) 😂
