So many cool photos! I sure remember the tulips of course- great lighting . Same for the underpass, Pinecrest, the larches ( huge wow!), Ireland, and the kid at the cheese counter. That waterfall is so serene, and huge. I like the composition with Don Adrián looking to the side, and seeing his sandal. Really like the water drops on the rail with the grumpy looking seagull. The bear looking out the window is heartwarming. And your basketball shot is a great milestone for your ankle's progress, as well as being a creative and unexpected picture representing a basketball game.
What a beautiful compilation of photos, Skylar! Very thoughtful. Here's to a good new year--and positive reflections. And remember that line from Manhattan at the end, from Muriel Hemingway's character, "Sometimes you just gotta have a little faith." All the best in this coming year to you!
Beautiful photos - and that basketball story, too, Skylar! I love that you got to play again. 🙂 (Also I can totally relate to your strong inner critic, oof!)
Gorgeous photos and I love the story behind the basketball on the court. Also, just arrived in Puerto Vallarta! If I make it over by the WalMart I'll look for the best tacos in PV!
Thanks Michael! It’s the Walmart in Pitillal, check out “Tacos y Arrieros MaryPaz” and get an arriero. But all the stands in that area are great. It’s also a really cool place to see life in Vallarta. I’d also recommend the bar Chiro and trying some raicilla. I got plenty of more unsolicited recs if you want ‘em, spent quite a bit of time there
Those photos need to be my calendar for 2025!! Love!
P.S. that gull is fierce and amazing too
Truth, Jordyn. This would make a fabulous calendar!
Thank you! That gull has seen some shit for sure
I like the gull
It is fierce
These are gorgeous! Definitely worth framing. And I love the idea of reviewing the year visually rather than as a sterile list of check boxes
Thank you!

Thanks Michael, I appreciate that! Baby steps, right? And yeahhhh it’s a little brutal sometimes haha
Now all I can hear is Bill Murray’s voice in my head 😆 “Baby steps, baby steps…”
The December one is my favorite ❤️🧀
Yeahhh recency bias for me but it’s definitely up there haha. Thanks!
I love your April and October sooooo much.
And the basketball story is wonderful.
Happy 2025.
Thanks Holly, I appreciate it!
