I’m a huge fan of the After the Hike beer and almost always pack one in a cooler so I can have it when I get to the car at the end of the hike (we should test this Skylar). But you may have missed the Lawnmowing Beer, which is consumed once you have successfully mowed the lawn on a hot summer day. I’m partial to a lager or Pilsner here, but in truth, on a really hot day nearly any beer will do. but you gotta have a lawn to mow to enjoy this beer.
the post hike beer is simply everything you need in that moment. Sometimes I'll pack one in the pack and try to give it extra insulation to keep it cool, but that's not always effective. Let's definitely try your method! And in truth, the "Yard Work Beer" made the shortlist based on some crowdsourcing but yeah, without a lawn I didn't think I should add it haha
When we did the big mountains (the ones that required an overnight), one of us always brought a camp cocktail, something that didn’t require ice (or we’d grab some snow if we were snow camping). Very civilized. Once (if) you have a lawn, you’ll dig the lawn mower beer.
At the beach beer! The best!
can't argue with that!
My favorite is the “at a baseball game” beer 🍺
That’s a great beer!
Beach beer is my favorite. A cold beverage on a hot beach has to be the ultimate luxury
Also sub category: river beer while inner tubing or paddle boarding.
a river beer is a very good beer - maybe we need “water sports beer” haha

Clever as usual, def post hike is top, and just was in several England pubs myself... what a vibe!
Old man pubs are the way haha
